Richard Stout, Principal

Mr. Stout has extensive experience in development, economic analysis, transaction structuring, land acquisition and entitlement, project finance, and taxation. Prior to forming the company in 1983, Mr. Stout was vice president of Morgan Stanley, where he was involved in arranging over one-half billion dollars of financing and property sales in the Washington area. Mr. Stout received a B.A. from Middlebury College and an M.B.A. from Case Western University. He is a C.P.A. and a licensed real estate broker in Maryland, DC, and Virginia.

G. Neel Teague, Principal

Mr. Teague is experienced in property valuation, feasibility analysis, land acquisition, leasing, design, construction finance, and management of office, retail, and residential property. He provides asset management advice to a number of the firm's institutional and non-profit clients. Prior to forming Stout and Teague, Mr. Teague was vice president of Quadrangle Development Corporation, a Washington, D.C. real estate development and management firm. Mr. Teague received his B.A. in Architecture from Yale University and an M.B.A. in Finance and Real Estate at the Wharton School, University of Pennsylvania. He is a licensed real estate broker in Maryland, DC, and Virginia. Mr. Teague is President of the Takoma/Langley Crossroads Development Authority and a Director of the Southeast Fairfax Development Corporation.

Diane Hellens, Senior Vice President

Ms. Hellens provides project management for Stout and Teague's advisory services, acquisition, development, and construction activities. Ms. Hellens has over 25 years of experience in Washington real estate with responsibilities including acquiring and developing communication towers, asset and real estate portfolio management and disposition for banks and insurance companies, and developing a number of suburban office buildings. Ms. Hellens received a B.A. in Government from Smith College and a M.B.A. in Management from the Wharton School, University of Pennsylvania.

Michael Gordon, Vice President

Mr. Gordon directs in house leasing and sales responsibilities for the firm and provides third party landlord and tenant representation services to a broad range of owners and end users throughout the Washington, DC metropolitan area. Prior to joining Stout and Teague, Mr. Gordon led a private investment group with industrial, retail, and residential properties throughout the Baltimore/Washington region. Prior to entering the real estate industry, he was a commodity options trader for Knight Financial and a member of the Chicago Board of Trade. Mr. Gordon is a graduate of Bradley University and is a licensed agent in the District of Columbia, Maryland and Virginia.

Jim L. Strickland, Senior Property Manager

Mr. Strickland leads Stout and Teague's Washington, D.C. Management Hub based at 1616 P St., NW. He supervises the firm's properties in DC and suburban Maryland. Prior to joining Stout and Teague, Mr. Strickland was a Sergeant Major with the U.S. Army and a member of the Department of the Army Special Review Board. Mr. Strickland has over 10 years of senior staff experience in personnel management at the Department of the Army. He has been with Stout and Teague for over two decades.

Joel Lee, Controller

Mr. Lee manages accounting operations and prepares financial statements for various properties managed by Stout and Teague. With over 15 years of real estate experience in the DC Metro area his responsibilities have included property management and development for various commercial and residential projects throughout the Northeastern region of the United States. Mr. Lee is a graduate of Bucknell University, with a B. S. B. A. in Accounting. Mr. Lee is a C.P.A.

Joseph Luers, Chief Engineer

Mr. Luers has over twenty five years of experience with heating and cooling systems and possesses a District of Columbia 3rd class steam license. Mr. Luers serves as chief administrator for daily engineering services and is actively involved in the day-to-day management and operations of his buildings and serves as a resource for non-routine issues. He is also based at the DC Management Hub on 16th Street.

Valoria Gerald, Asset Manager

Ms. Gerald oversees lease administration and budgeting for the company’s management portfolio. She collaborates with the leasing department to manage and handle leasing assignments with an emphasis on government tenants. Prior to joining Stout and Teague, Ms. Gerald was an Assistant Vice President with Quadrangle Development Corporation, located in Washington, DC. She is a licensed agent in Virginia and South Carolina.

Pam Hill, Property Manager

Ms. Hill serves as property manager for Stout and Teague’s Virginia portfolio. Ms. Hill assists with supervising day to day operations as well as tenant build-outs and contract services. Prior to coming to Stout and Teague, Ms. Hill was an assistant property manager with Capital Realty Management Group. Ms. Hill is a graduate of University of Maryland, with a Bachelor of Science in Business.

Maria Garcia, Communications Manager

Ms. Garcia is responsible for developing and implementing a strategic communication plan for the firm. She is currently focused on working with the leasing and development team in producing and overseeing all communication including brochures, email marketing and website content. Prior to joining Stout and Teague, Ms. Garcia was a research analyst for CoStar Group, handling commercial real estate research for portions of the Washington, DC office market. Ms. Garcia received a Bachelor of Arts in Communication from the University of Maryland, College Park.
